1. Our Services

Baskjop provides:

• men's suits for sale
• men's suits for rent
• tailoring and adjustment services
• fittings and style consultations
• related accessories (where offered)

Details, prices and availability may change from time to time without prior notice, but changes do not affect confirmed orders already accepted by us.

2. Using Our Website

By using our website, you agree that you will:

• use it only for lawful purposes
• provide accurate information when contacting us or making a booking
• not attempt to damage, hack or disrupt the website
• not copy or use our content for commercial purposes without permission

We may update or change the website at any time and are not responsible if it is temporarily unavailable.

3. Orders, Bookings & Confirmations

You can contact us through the website, email, phone or in person to:

• book a fitting
• request a quote
• purchase a suit
• reserve a rental suit

A booking or order is confirmed only when:

• we approve your request; and
• you receive confirmation from us (by email, message or in person); and
• where required, you pay a deposit or full amount.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order or booking if:

• items are unavailable
• information provided is incomplete or incorrect
• payment is not received or is unsuccessful
• we suspect misuse or fraud

If we cancel for reasons on our side (for example, stock or internal error), we will inform you and, where applicable, refund any amount you have paid for that order.

4. Prices & Payment

All prices are shown in AUD (Australian Dollars) unless stated otherwise.

Prices may change at any time, but confirmed orders keep the price agreed at the time of confirmation (unless there is a clear pricing error).

We may accept different payment methods (such as card, bank transfer, cash in studio). Full details are provided at the time of booking or purchase.

You agree to:

• pay on time according to the agreed terms
• cover any fees clearly shown (for example, rental fee, late return fee, damage fee if applicable)

5. Suit Rentals – Important Conditions

When renting a suit from Baskjop, you agree to:

• use it only for the agreed event or period
• return it on the agreed date, in good condition (normal wear is understood)
• not make permanent changes (for example, cutting, sewing, dyeing)

Late Returns

If you return a rental suit late, a late fee may apply per day, as explained at the time of booking.

Damage or Loss

If a suit or item is returned with major damage, heavy stains, or is lost/not returned, we may charge a repair or replacement fee. We will explain this clearly and fairly.

Fittings for Rentals

We help you choose a size that fits well, but final comfort is also your responsibility. Please try the suit before your event and tell us immediately if something is wrong so we can assist where possible.

6. Tailoring & Custom Orders

Tailored suits and special orders are made or adjusted based on your:

• measurements
• style choices
• fabric and design selection

Please:

• check all details during your fitting
• let us know about any issues as soon as possible

Because custom pieces are made specifically for you:

• they are usually non-refundable, except where required by law
• changes after production may involve extra costs

We aim for a great fit, but minor adjustments may sometimes be needed and can be arranged as agreed.

7. Cancellations & Changes

Purchases:

For ready-made items, returns or changes depend on our in-store or online return policy, which will be explained at the time of purchase and always follow Australian consumer law.

Rentals & Bookings:

If you need to cancel or change your rental or fitting:

• please contact us as early as possible
• cancellation rules (including any non-refundable deposits) will be explained when confirming your booking

We reserve the right to cancel or move a booking in case of unexpected issues (for example, stock damage, staff illness, technical problems). In such cases, we will try to offer an alternative solution or a refund where relevant.

8. Your Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

• provide correct contact and event details
• attend fittings on time or inform us if you are delayed
• follow care instructions for suits in your possession
• return rental suits on time
• treat our staff with respect

If you fail to follow these conditions, extra fees or refusal of future service may apply, where reasonable.

9. Our Liability

We always aim to provide professional service and quality products. However:

• we are not responsible for delays or issues caused by events outside our control (for example, transport delays, technical failures, extreme weather, third-party issues)
• we are not responsible for indirect or special losses (such as loss of opportunity, emotional distress, or event costs), except where the law requires

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

• our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for that specific product or service

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law or excludes our liability for fraud or intentional misconduct.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Baskjop website (text, photos, logo, design, etc.) belongs to us or is used with permission.

You must not:

• copy, sell, reuse or distribute our content for commercial purposes without our written consent

You may share our website or images for personal use or inspiration, as long as it is fair and does not damage our reputation.
